I Recently Developed A Rash On My Lip I Don’t
Question: I recently developed a rash on my lip I don’t know what it is can you help?
I could have a possible reasons how I got it. It started around the 25th of sep. I ate ice cream the night before and I’m allergic so I normally get a hive or two on my lip and that happened but they weren’t huge so I thought they were going to go away. Then I always keep a baby for my friends aunt and the baby was just diagnosed with hand foot and mouth two days ago. I saw the baby when I had the now blister on my lip. Then I do have eczema but I’ve never had it on my lips.
I don’t have a fever and not in pain. I don’t have sores on my lip or in my mouth. Nor on my hands or feet. Just the lip rash

Brief Answer:
Looks like herpes simplex infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor
I have gone through your query and reviewed the attached photographs.
It seems to be herpes simplex infection.
I would recommend you to apply topical antibiotic like fusidic acid cream or neosporin ointment on the affected skin twice daily for 6-8 days.
This should resolve your problem.
Regards
Dr Asmeet
