Question : I recently took a nasty fall and injured my shoulder. It hurts but I have been nauseated ever since is what concerns me. I heard popping etc when I hit the ground but the thing I remember the most was an instant headache from being XXXXXXX so hard. I am a little scared actually and do not have insurance.

The fall was on Sunday and today is Wednsday. Is anyone even looking at my question?

                                    Brief Answer:
Nausea, common sign after fall.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
It is a good news that you didn't experience broken or cracked bones or skull.
Feeling nauseous for some days after a traumatic fall is common because of contusion.
I don't think it is something serious because you didn't vomited right away and the x-ray reports were normal.
If the nausea was severe and accompanied by vomiting right after accident it was to worry.
So as a conclusion you are experiencing nausea and it is a normal sign of injury and trauma you experienced. I think you don't need further examinations rather than antinflamatory drugs such advil or acetaminophen for pain and rest.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
