Brief Answer:
Adhesions may be the cause
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Laparoscopic Appendicectomy is a procedure which involves removal of Appendix by small incisions.
After removal of Appendix, sometimes a loop of bowel or Abdominal fat may attach to the cut end of Appendix or to the inner side of the incision (Wound). This may lead to Adhesions causing Cramp like pain.It is physiological.Nothing to worry.
In severe cases, the abdomen will become distended, Vomiting may occur. If these are not present, simple smooth muscle relaxant tablet containing Dicyclomine will help.
If the pain still persists, get an Ultrasound/CT scan of the abdomen.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions,I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards
