Question : My ear doctor asked me to use Afrin nose spray 30 minutes before my appointment and I don%E2%80%99t understand why I%E2%80%99m having ear pain

Common cold and nasal congestion can cause earache. Nasal decongestant sprays like Afrin will help and provide symptomatic relief.

You can also take over the counter available paracetamol tablets for symptomatic relief.
