I Slipped And Fell At Work. The Accident Happened On
Question: I slipped and fell at work. The accident happened on the left side of my body. Hours later, the lower region of my back, the back of my left leg down to my feet started getting numb. The following day my lower back radiate with extreme pain and my entire left leg down to my toes was virtually numb. I never experienced such pain and discomfort until the accident happened at work.
I was given an MRI and it came back showing that I suffered from Cervical Stenosis and 2/herniated disk in my lower back.
The company I no longer work for insisted that I had these injuries prior to the slip and fall, but the MRIs’ revealed that the slip and fall did in fact cause the newly formed lower back herniations.
I’m generating images of the MRI along with my query the images are not all in order, but the images of the upper/lower back are clear.

Firstly there are no images attached in this question.
Secondly, if an MRI report has mentioned that these disc changes have been present only since the fall then that is your documentary evidence.
Herniated discs are not an acute change. They go through phases such starting with disc dehydration, disc bulge, disc protrusion and disc extrusion.
If the affected discs look dark on the MRI, it's likely that they have gone through these changes which takes a few years to occur and a final trauma has led to the last few stages of protrusion or extrusion causing the severe symptoms.
