                                    Brief Answer:
Can be tail bone fracture.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
After falling from stairs the tail bone area is usually the most affected area. In case there is a bruise or swelling in the area with pain then a fracture needs to be ruled out after an MRI scan.
Till then take rest, avoid all painful movements and take a mild pain killer like ibuprofen. Avoid constipation and sitting on hard surfaces as it can aggravate pain.
Hope this answer is helpful.
Any further questions are welcome.
Regards.

Avoid going to work and take rest.

Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
It is best to avoid going to work and sitting there for long hours. Do take rest by lying down till the pain completely subsides. It usually takes 2-3 weeks to heal properly.
