Question : hi, I sometimes get a random feeling of a lump in my throat. It is sometimes accompanied by a metallic taste and random small amounts of pain. I am fifteen and have been having this issue for a while. I also have lots of extra mucus and phlegm in my throat that I sometimes have to regurgitate because of how much mucus is in the lower part of my throat. I also used to get bad acid reflux.

Hello dear,

The symptoms seem to be related to acid reflux.
It can give the sensation of a lump in the throat.
I recommend using treatment to lower the stomach acidity such as Pantoprazole 20 mg in the morning before breakfast.I also suggest using Maalox three times a day

I suggest to avoid spicy food which can trigger the symptoms.
