Question : I suddenly got red blotches on my face. They are here and there. Don’t know why? Also hair falling out this week. Why?

Your symptoms seem to be related to dermatitis.

It is an inflammatory skin condition.

Meanwhile, I suggest to use Calmine lotion for local application.

I also suggest to use antihistamines such as Cetirizine 10 mg to reduce the inflammation.

I recommend to avoid using Retinol for a while which may have triggered the symptoms.

Hi again dear,

Contact dermatitis can also cause hair loss.

The hair loss can be moderate in this case.

If the hair fall continue I suggest to do a biopsy of the scalp to confirm the cause of the hair loss.

Meanwhile, I suggest to use a gentle, unscented shampoo.

I also suggest to avoid styling products.

You should also take a biotin supplement for the hair.
