Question: I swallowed a piece of aluminum foil a long time ago About 2 years now and have had a pain in my throat since then. I’ve went to my main doctor but all they gave me was heartburn medicine it helps a bit but not much. What should I do?

Worthwhile continuing an heart burn medicine for 4 weeks like nexpro rd 40 1-0-0, and anti reflux measures like avoiding sleeping 2 hrs afer meals and avoiding oily and spicy food.
also try gargling with xylocaine viscous 10 ml in half a glass of water for three times a day for 5 days and see how you feel
Worth while taking an ENT opinion and doing a endoscopy too.
