Brief Answer:
Guaifenesin is a cough syrup that does not interact with atorvastatin

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor" service,

I carefully read your query and here is my advice:

There are many cough syrups that can be used but one that is quite effective and does not interact with atorvastatine is guaifenesin. This is over the counter and can be taken in a local pharmacy without prescription, you will need to follow the instructions in the box on its use (the usual dose is 200-400 mg every 4 hours).

On the other hand you need to make sure you do not have lung infection (pneumonia) because in this case cough syrups are not enough but antibiotics might be needed.
If you have fever for more than 3 days or you feel very weak (especially if you have chest pain or shortness of breath), if you are not feeling better in 3-4 days or you get any worse you will need to see a doctor to check your lungs and make sure of the cause of the cough.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
