Question : I take once daily low dose aspirin for high platelets (at last check, they were at 443). My doctor requested the aspirin regimen. I have an awful mixed tension migraine right now, and I need pain relief. Can I take a full dose of aspirin today?

Yes you can......take Oral aspirin
300 to 650 mg and that can be repeated after 6 hours as needed.
Only full dose of it will be helpful as a fever reducer or for the relief of pain.
But this full dose would not be useful to limit platelet aggregation.Only low dose of it has that property so after a gap of 4 to 6 hours,you have to repeat and take the low dose aspirin.
Maximum dose of aspirin is 4 g in 24 hours.
