I have felt ill with mono like symptoms. I am concerned as I have been told I have hypogammaglobulimea. My immune iga deficiency and igg defeciency. My igg was normal in April 2018, normal but lower September 2018 and now this month has dropped again to below normal range

                                    Brief Answer:
IgM will confirm if its current infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I have seen the photos. In both photos, Date is not seen but IgG means past/current infection or vaccination. Positive IgM will confirm if its current infection.
Deviations in IgA and IgG should not be of concern if there is no serious infection. You can simply take precautions against polluted air and polluted drinking water.
Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

                                    Igm is negative
But the CMV tither went up from 7.20 to 7.50
Isn't that high for CMV? The lab sent a note saying it was High and out of range
I do feel sick all the time and have an enterococcous faescilus infection that has not gone away..been months, in buttock

                                    Lastly,
I tested positive for EBV EA 3x in last 4 months
Would you consider that a positive active mononucleosis infection?
The EBV tithers are all high
The igm is negative

                                    Brief Answer:
IgM negative means no active infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
IgM negative means no active infection (unless there is IgM deficiency in background or its false negative test). So I will not consider CMV and EBV in your active infections list.
Yes IgG titers are high for EBV and CMV. Even if we consider them as active infections we cannot do much about them as they are viruses.
Mostly we want to raise your overall immunity with regular exercise and healthy lifestyle.
In severe immuno deficiency its recommended to be in a closed and aseptic room all the time where there is no risk of infection. In mild immunodeficiency and for practical life its not possible. So avoid your exposures to sick people, hospitals/clinics, smoke, old houses, traffic emissions, etc. We cannot make the air bacteria/fungus free. Basically stay at a place with more trees and plants around. Drink water that has lowest TDS. Avoid unnecessary antibiotics for every mild infection and save them for a bad infection.
Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
