Question: I use keyboard for typing but from past 2-3 my palm is having very little discomfort but it is not painful , but I can feel some thing in palm and fingers is it carpel tunnel due to excessive typing should I use wirst rest so that it goes away?

Yes, it does look like beginning of carpel tunnel syndrome and it is best if you give your hands some rest for a few days and also use an ergonomic mouse ( a vertical mouse helps immensly).
If this continues to bother you again and again, then you will have to reduce your work.
Meanwhile, get an ergnomic keyboard as well.
