                                            Question : Hello doc,
I have attached reports of OCT and Fundus Photography of my father aged 82 years. We found this out in a routine check up after a little gap (may be an year) where he has no problem in vision, He drives and does all activities with this specs which has been there all his life so far. Now the doc says that his cataract has to be done more on right eye. but before that she shared from this report that there is blood clot (more in right) in the right eye and there is and soon build of fluid / blood in the back of his eye. So she has suggested a Oceva injection to keep that clot under control for over 2 years (in the interval of 6 or 7 weejks looking at the scan time to time).
My concern here is, @ 82 where my father is not having any day to day bothering issues, making himtake this injection on his eye, what if it causes some compications and so as cataract. I am still ok with CAtaract thant his injection.
I want a second opinion looking at this report if its a good idea to take this injection when the eye has not caused any day to day issue for my father?
