I Want An Answer From Pediatrician Too. My 6 Year

Question: I want an answer from pediatrician too.
My 6 year old son from past 3 days has been telling that he feels like urinating but no urine comes out (only a few drops come). He urinates & again after few minutes he feels like going to the bathroom again. Is this something to worry about ??
He drinks enough water everyday. He didn't tell this in the past. Only from past 3 to 4 days he is telling this.

Brief Answer:
May be concentrated or acidic urine
Detailed Answer:
Hi... this symptom is called strangury.
The most common causes are -
1. Decreased water or fluid intake.
2. Drinking of carbonated beverages.
3. Balanoposthitis or glans inflammation.
4. Urinary tract infection - though unlikely without fever.
The best home remedy would be - give him a glass of sugar water followed by 2 or 3 glasses of plain water.
This should settle the issue.
If he's not better, then Citralka syrup should work. But this is a prescription medication and you will require a doctor's prescription for it please.
