I Was In A Severe Car Wreck On Valentine's Day

Question: I was in a severe car wreck on Valentine's Day of 2019 I broke my femur in three spots and I fractured my hip over the past three or four days I've been having an extreme amount of pain in my upper thigh and in my groin area today it has gotten to the point that it's so bad that it has me in tears and I can't even hardly walk on my leg wondering if you could tell me what could possibly be wrong and if I should be concerned about it immediately I've enclosed a picture of my x-ray from the surgery6
Brief Answer:
Please do not ignore. Visit your doctor at the earliest.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for using the Ask a Doctor service.
I understand your condition and have viewed the attached image. I assume that a casting has been done for the fracture. It is possible that a condition called compartment syndrome has occurred wherein there a severe swelling occurs in a compartment of the thigh enclosed by the casting. The casting has to be cut and checked. You need to visit your orthopedician at the earliest so that the needful can be done.
Please do not ignore the situation.
