Question: I was just on a plane and I got very dizzy, saw black spots, broke out into a drenching sweat and felt sick. I had pain across my shoulders and neck area along with a small dull head ache. after about 10 min it went away only to return again. I went to the restroom and put cool water on my hands and face, then felt better and it all went away. Is this something to be concerned about ?

Brief Answer:
Possible hypoglycaemia episode, do a total check up

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

Most probably you experienced a hypoglycaemia episode due to long hours without eating and drinking anything.
Also the stress during the flight may have contributed to the situation.
I don't think this is something to worry about.
You may need to do a total blood count with formula and biochemical blood balance.
Also test blood sugars fasting and after eating.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
