Hello!

Welcome to Ask a Doctor service!

I understand your concern and would explain that these ECG findings could be related to a lung disorder or a cardiac disease.

I would like to know more about your complaints:

- Have you experienced shortness of breath?
- What is your past medical history? Have you had any lung disorders in the past?

Coming to this point, I would recommend performing a cardiac ultrasound, a chest X ray study and pulmonary function tests.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests!

I remain at your disposal for any further questions whenever you need!

Kind regards,

I am short of breath after smoking most times and feel uneasy. I would also like to point out that when they did the ecg they ran blood work. my RDW SD level was low. I have no prior major medical problems. Can that be related to what is going on?

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!

The shortness of breath after smoking could be indicative of a lung disorder.

For this reason, I would recommend performing a chest X ray study and pulmonary function tests.

A cardiac ultrasound is also important to examine your heart function and structure.

Regarding RDW SD, I don't think that it is related to these ECG findings. It is indicative of anemia. For this reason ,I recommend checking iron plasma levels.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Wishing all the best,
