Question : I was standing and my 75-pound dog ran into my leg, nearly knocking me down. It feels as though my knee and ankle are sprained; mild dull pain but can currently bear weight. I was okay following the impact, but within 30 seconds, I broke out into a cold sweat, felt extremely dizzy, and have ringing in my ears. Should I be concerned? I've sprained my ankle before, but have never experienced these additional symptoms.

Hi there
Thanks for the query
It's possible that you may be in vasovagal shock of the sudden scary incident which may be the cause of these symptoms.
If these symptoms do not persist and no after effects then there's no need to be concerned. There could be a dip in blood sugar which can also cause cold sweats n dizziness. Be careful if your are diabetic or hypertensive and better to get checked regularly for the same from your GP.
I hope I have answered your query.
