Question : I was standing and my 75-pound dog ran into my leg, nearly knocking me down. It feels as though my knee and ankle are sprained; mild dull pain but can currently bear weight. I was okay following the impact, but within 30 seconds, I broke out into a cold sweat, felt extremely dizzy, and have ringing in my ears. Should I be concerned? I've sprained my ankle before, but have never experienced these additional symptoms.

Brief Answer:
A vasovagal attack

Detailed Answer:
Dear Ma’am, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but this is probably due to a vasovagal attach which leads to a decrease in heart rate and blood pressure.. This happens in any frightening situation and passes with no complications. However if the dog has bitten you or the your skin broke then you might need an anti rabies vaccine. I hope you find this helpful
