Question : I went to Dr and was diagnosed with an ulcer. He didnt do any scans or tests, but determined thats what it was through my symptoms. In the last 2 days i have been experiencing cold chills and sorness all over my body, especially in my left arm, and back. What could this be?

I read your query and here is my advice.

I believe the symptoms you are currently having are not much related to ulcer. They seem like the symptoms of a cold or flu.
For the symptoms of fever and temperature I can advise you to use Tylenol or acetaminophen since ibuprofen and other NSAIDs are not recommended in case of stomach ulcera.
Your doctor may have adviced you to do further tests such helicobacter pylori test (the main bacteria causing stomach ulcera) and gasteoscopy (camera tube) to see the mucosa linning conditions.
