Question : Hi, over the past few months, i’ve had a nightmare of medical issues. It started with my foot swelling and the veins throbbing, so i went to Neurologist and was diagnosed with a Neuropathy in foot (and FGFR3 antibody). So I was recommended for IVIG treatment, and reacted terribly with side effects such as severe headaches and neck pain for up to 3 weeks. Due to the pain, i went to emergency room and had a spinal tap/mri. Both came back negative. It’s currently been 2 months since the IVIG and i still dont feel like myself. I still have lingering muscle spasms that dont seem to go away. Im not sure if this can be anxiety related from all the medical trauma or if there’s something underlying. Ive had multiple blood tests, the MRI, the spinal tap but nothing was found wrong. I feel like i’m back to square one and my foot (Neuropathy) is still not cured and now i have muscle spasms which arent going away. Please let me know any suggestions

Headaches, migraine, are the most common adverse effects, myalgia also is a possibility.
Since you had an MRI and spinal tap done and other examinations that came back negative, you should not be worried about anything serious.
Anxiety can worsen or can cause a variety of symptoms itself, so, curing it should ease your symptoms too.
Neuropathy may be treated with drugs too such as pregabalin, amytriptiline, duloxetine, etc.
Discuss with your Neurologist for these issues.
