Question : I woke up one morning almost 2 weeks ago, with a stiff neck, it has just seemed to get worse.
I originally tried a tins unit, then I also have a large Dr. Scholl's massager that is used for this type of issue., but all seems to get worse. There was a place in the upper part of my back close to the spine that was hurting really bad and the pain went to the neck then to the back of my head.
I am a type 2 diabetic, and recently I started the XXXXXXX diet which has brought my sugar levels down under 100 every day. I also have started a low dose of blood pressure meds. My concerns are the diet and the blood pressure meds as I take 2 diuretics every day. Is it possible for the medication and starting the XXXXXXX diet be causing all this pain in my head and neck. I was on it years ago and I remember having bad headaches for a while. Its been 3 weeks since I started back on XXXXXXX so the headache should be gone. I can't turn my head at all, last night I exercised a lot trying to get the soreness out, but did not work. When I move my head to the right, I hear and feel loud popping, not to the left though. Any idea what is going on?
My primary Dr. is off today. This has actually put me in bed this pain is horrible. I used lidocaine
cream the last 3 nights, but even it does not help.
