Question : I woke up this morning with these bruises on my right leg. Did not get hurt or anything that i can remember. Have bad anxiety for 6 months with loss of appetite. Also started HRT 2 weeks ago as blood work shows I'm in menopause. Just worried about these bruises now

Blood thinners may be a cause.

Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

I want to know if you are taking any blood thinners medications such aspirin or warfarine, synthron etc.
Sometimes bruising and haematoma from a trauma that you can't even remember may be caused while on blood thinners.
I can recommend you to do a total blood count and platelets count to check platelets levels.
Hrt doesn't usually gives easily bruising.
