Brief Answer:
All sore throat are not Corona

Detailed Answer:
Hi...
Welcome to Ask a Doctor"service.
I am Dr Ajeet XXXXXXX

I have gone through your query and here is my opinion.

Corona virus is a zoonotic which typically started in Whuan region of China and spread through out the world.
The main symptoms of corona are fever, headache, cough and breathlessness.

If you have a history of travel outside the country or contact with someone who has travelled abroad ,then you should be concerned about it.
If this does not apply to you,it is very unlikely that you are suffering from a corona infection.

Just practice hand hygiene, avoid crowded places ,avoid touching your face, cover your face while sneezing or coughing and try to be indoors.

Do hot saline gargles for sore throat.
Be well hydrated.
Take Paracetamol 500 mg for fever and antihistamines like Levocetrizine 5mg at night.

If the symptoms do not improve, see your clinician.

Hope that I have answered your query.

Stay healthy and stay blessed.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
PERSONS WITH EXPOSURE TO CORONA PATIENTS SHOULD BE MONITORED

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.

As per WHO guidelines, close contact with corona patient means ....

Living with a Corona patient in same house.
Taking care of a sick Corona patient.
Being within 6 feet of a Corona patient for about 10 minutes.
Being in direct contact with secretions of a Corona patient.

If you had a contact (Being within 6 feet of a COVID-19 patient for about 10 minutes) with suspected corona patients who had travel history and symptomatology, you should monitor your health.

Remain confined to home, avoid public places, practice hand hygiene, use alcohol sanitizers, avoid touching your face and cover your face during coughing and sneezing, keep distance.
If the symptoms do not improve, visit a respiratory clinic for further evaluation.

Best regards.
