I Work In A Prison And Was Involved In An Assault. In The Process I Landed On My Left Knee. This Was About A Month Ago. It Is Extremely Painful. It Hurts To Bend And Go Up/down Stairs. My Chiropractor Ordered Me An MRI Which Came Back Negative. He Did Say There Was A Bunch Of Fluid And Deep Swelling. Should I Get A Second Opinion From An Orthopedic Surgeon?

Brief Answer:
Detail below .

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
If there is bunch of fluid and deep swelling in MRI than there is soft tissue injury .
You can take a second opinion from an Orthopedic surgeon, till then you can go with RICE ( rest ,ice sponging , compression and elevation) and take pain killer like acleclofenac and paracetamol combination.
