Question: I%E2%80%99m a 35 year old male with no major health issues. I%E2%80%99ve recently had what I assumed was a hemroid, the skin between my anus and testicles will occasionally be extremelly itchy and painful and then other time be completely fine. Now, on top of that, Ive notice a small sac (feels like a solid ball) on my inner buttocks right next to my anus. What is going on?

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through your query and here is my advice.

As per your history, it may be due to several causes which should get evaluated.

Please let me know,
Do you have history of rectal bleeding, loss of appetite/weight, constipation/diarrhea, fever?

For further assessment, I would suggest you to consult with proctologist for detailed clinical examination.

S/he may procure/advise proctoscopy examination, complete hemogram, stool analysis, biopsy, colonoscopy SOS as per evaluation to rule out hemorrhoids/wart/any other lesion.

Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition. For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen. For itching you can take tablet loratidine. Apply ointment containing lidocaine locally.

Along with that keep your self hydrated. Take soft, high fibre diet. Take more fruits and vegetables in diet.

Hope I have answered your query...

I have never had fever, rectal bleeding, loss of appetite, and have always had occasional stomach issues but nothing unusual lately.

I%E2%80%99ve had similar cyst type things on my inner thighs and scrotum in the past which have resolved themselves.

Unless this is something that requires urgent attention, I%E2%80%99m a little hesitant to seek immediate medical attention as I live in NY where there are alot of coronavirus concerns. It seems like perjaps going to an urgent care now could be more dangerous than riding it out.

Please advise.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.

As per your history, I don't think that it's serious and require urgent medical care. I think it may be skin infection/abscess.

Till then kindly follow all measures as suggested earlier.
