Question: I%E2%80%99ve had a sore flat spot/mark on my pubic area for over a week now. It hurts when touched there is no head or bleeding its shiny and slightly raised.

Hi.
Thanks for your short query and photos.
These indicate the following:
*Most probably a sebaceous cyst with mild inflammation.
*Pubic area has lots of hair hence hair follicles; Folliculitis is quite common in this area.
*This area also has more fat hence the inflammation spreads easily and take time to resolve.
*There is spontaneous resolution in most of the case within a few weeks only a few need anti-inflammatory medicines and antibiotic.
*I would advise you to keep this under observation.
* Avoid fondling or popping.
* You may apply liquid povidone iodine to the affected area.
*Rule out diabetes by blood sugar tests.
