Question : IHAVE A PERSISTENT COUGH WITH CLEAR MUCUS PRODUTION WHICH HAS GONE ON ALL SUMMER. I DONT HAVE A COLD AND A RECENT CT SCAN, NOT RELATED TO THIS, SHOWED NORMAL LUNGS.. MY INSTERNIST HAS NO INTEREST, HAS REFUSED TO PRESCRIBE ANYTHING BESIDES ADEROL. THIS COUGHSEEMS TO BE FROM MY SINUSES, NOT MY LUNGS. DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS? ITS KEPING MY HUSBAND AWAKE ALL NIGHT,

Get done CT scan of paranasal sinuses.

This can be due to sinusitis.
For the confirmation, you need to get done ENT doctor consultation and CT scan of paranasal sinuses.
You can try steam inhalation and warm water gargles 5-6 times a day.
Also take levocetrizine and paracetamol combination twice daily.
