Question : hi,I am having irregular periods,last period on 7th april,had unprotected sex on 23rd april,i took meprate to induce periods,stopped on 9 may,still i didn't get my period today being 5th day,checked for pregnancy on 12th may but showed negative ,is there any possibility that i am pregnant,if yes how can i terminate it,please help

Safe period CAN'T be calculated if you have irregular period. In this case, I suggest you to undergo one blood test for beta-hCG to rule out pregnancy.

Home pregnancy test is NOT much significant in early stage. Blood test is confirmatory and next management can be done after reviewing test result.

I have done blood test for beta hcg and it shows less than 2mIU/ml.What should i do now,am i pregnant?

Blood test for beta-hCG value less than 2 mIU/ ml indicates NEGATIVE test result and you are NOT pregnant.

Most women get their withdrawal bleeding like period within 7-10 days of taking Meprate. I suggest you to await another 4 to 5 days to get period naturally. Be stress free and it will help to induce period.
