If I Drink Alot Of Water While Taking Sucralfate Will The Aluminum Go Out Of My Body And Kidneys Faster?
Question: Will sucralfate damage and worsen my kidneys because of the aluminum in it?
If i drink alot of water while taking sucralfate will the aluminum go out of my body and kidneys faster?
If my kidneys are good and gfr is good at a 100 if i take this for 3 months will my kidney function go down or gfr to 80 or 90 cuz of sucralfate?
If my gfr was 100 back in oct 2021 does it change daily, weekly monthly yearly how does it work?

No, sucralfate does not damage your kidneys. It does not affect kidneys because the drug does not undergo any significant absorption from the intestine. and is excreted in feces.
So there is no need to worry to kidney damage while taking sucralfate.

But research says that aluminum is excreted thru the kidneys? Will drinking alot of water help less impact on the kidneys while taking sucralfate?

I am 41 yrs old and my eGFR is 100. If i take the sucralfate will the aluminum make my eGFR go lower to 80 or 90 after im done taking the sucralfate 3 months later?
