Question : If my monocyte level on my blood test is high, why has my doctor marked it as normal?

                                    Brief Answer:
It may be due to infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
A slight increase in monocytes is quite common and it may be due to minor infections or injuries.
If the monocytes are very high further investigations like peripheral smear may be required to make a diagnosis.
Can you please attach the blood results in the follow-up query so that I can review them in detail...
Thanks
