Question : If someone has hepatitis c and they accidentally spit their infected saliva into an open cut or wound that is bleeding can you get hepatitis c that way?

Hello,

hepatitis C transmission requires blood to blood contact or (less often) sexual contact. It cannot be transmitted by touching an infected person's saliva even if it's an open wound unless the saliva contains blood.
