Brief Answer:
Yes, it can cause pain in lower abdomen if the affected nerve supplies area

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
There is usually pain in the distribution of the affected nerve and the rash can come after few days as seems to be in your case.
Since the nerve distribution is in the direction that goes forward and down (and around the chest or abdomen) you can certainly get pain in lower abdomen.
It is better to consult your Doctor as soon as possible so that an appropriate prescription based treatment can be started and this also helps to confirm the diagnosis and see for any other disease causing similar symptoms.
Till then you may please take any painkiller that suits you.
Take rest.
Applying cold fomentation helps with Singles pain.
Please post clear and focused photographs of the affected area if possible - helps for on-the-spot diagnosis.

I hope this answers your query.
Take care.
Please give feedback.

With Regards.
