Question : hello dr ...I m 7 month pregnant....last one week I m having severe wet cough ... specially in night cough increases....n cold also .....plz suggest ...hope cough ll not affect my baby

Severe cough during pregnancy can affect its outcome, so it should be managed under guidance of gynecologist. Medicines should be taken with caution.
Nebuliser maybe used if needed

I can suugest following home remedies:
- One spoon honey + one pinch turmeric powder + one pinch black pepper powder - mix and take twice a day for 3-4 days
- Gargle the mouth and throat with warm water (add some salt to it) or coconut oil twice a day

These should help in getting down the symptoms.
