Sex: male.

Approx last 5-6 months

Is there any family history?
No family history.

Is it diffuse hair loss or is it localized to certain areas?
No.

Is there any preceding history of illness, weight loss,, thyroid abnormalities?
No thyroid problem. Last week thyroid result was 2-3.
Have you tried any treatment yet? if so, what?
No not yet.

Hi.
Most likely you have androgenetic alopecia which is the commonest cause of hair fall and baldness in males. I suggest you to use Minoxidil 5% solution, 1ml, twice daily. Use it on absolutely dry and clean scalp. In addition I suggest you to take oral finasterude 1mg tablet once a day at night. Treatment is long term and response takes at least 3-6 months.

Hi.

Androgenetic alopecia is mostly diagnosed clinically. I don't have any specific references in XXXXXXX You can do a Google search and visit a dermatologist near you.

Minoxidil 5% solution and Finasteride 1mg tablet are approved medicines for Androgenetic alopecia in males. These are available on prescription.
