Question : I'm having trouble with my urine. It is burning/achy and it leaks out. Pls. advise.

Hello,

I have gone through your query and here is my advice.

As per your history, it may be due to urinary tract infection. Infection may cause bladder irritation that leads to urinary incontinence i.e urine leaks out.

For further assessment, I would suggest you to consult Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1. Urine routine and culture sensitivity
2. Ultrasound abdomen and pelvis
3. complete hemogram

In the mean while, You may start broad spectrum antibiotics like cefixime with nitrofurantoin, urine alkaliser like syp. cital after family physician consultation. Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.

Along with that, keep yourself hydrated. Avoid caffeine or acidic foods. Continue pelvic floor exercises.
