Question : I’m in excruciating dental pain. I need a root canal and can’t get in to the Endodontist until next Monday afternoon for an evaluation. All I have to take is tramodal and it’s not helping. Is there something else I can do?

I don’t know if this site is working. I’ve never used this before. Did you get my message?

                                    Brief Answer:
Be calm
Detailed Answer:
Hi First of all thank you for approaching us for your query.
I read through your query.
I suggest you to take amoxycillin for 5 days thrice daily(pain is due to infection in the pulp inside the tooth resulting in the infection reaching the root tip and antibiotics full course can reduce the infection and eventually reduce the pain)available only on prescription, and diclofenac thrice daily for 5 days( anti inflammatory to reduce inflammation of pulp and reduce pain). Also please do hot salt water gargle to increase blood circulation n reduce infection. Avoid having food and sweets from that side till Monday. Stay calm and be positive. Positive and cool mind is best solution to any problem. Hope you understood what I meant. If you have more queries please be free to come back to us.
Have a healthy day.
Thank you
