Question : I'm on remron 30mg and my doctor administrated me an antibiotic for a bacterial infection is it OK to take the medication or there will be a bad interaction please help me!!!
Brief Answer:
Can you provide the name of antibiotic, without that we can not say
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to Ask a Doctor Service.
Remeron 30 mg contains mirtazapine, and as far I can check, it does not interact with amoxicillin, ciprofloxacin, azithromycin or oflaxacin.
But since you have not mentioned the antibiotic you have been prescribed, I can not be sure if it does not interact with the specific medicine that has been prescribed to you.
I urge you to update me with the name of the medicine you are taking, then I will answer your query accurately.
Best wishes
