Question : I’m on the 8th day of a significant cold. Started with sore throat on just the right side. Followed by four days of extreme runny nose - clear Liquid. 100.3 fever in the afternoons, cough with clear phlegm. Took coriciden and various cough drops. Seemed to be clearing up but then returned with dry cough, mostly at night and sinus pressure and pain. Teeth hurt and pained cheek bones. Runny nose returned with bleeding on the right side. Now taking Sinex spray and caplets which seem to be working a little. So I assume Sinusitis. Any other thoughts? What should I do next?

Detailed Answer:
Hii. It seems that you are having allergic rhinosinusitis. You start taking tablet augmentin and tablet levocetrizine. This will decrease the the infection. You need to take fluticasone and saline nasal spray. Continue steam inhalation after spray. This will decrease the inflammation of the sinus and will decrease the allergic mucin. You can continue betadine gargle to decrease any throat infection. You can take some bromhexine tablet to clear the sinus secretion. Get a x ray sinus done to see whether there is any infection present or not. Please review if you have any query.
