Question : I'm suffering from mild fever and dry cough. The dry cough had been persistent. I have a acid reflux too. But right now the dry cough is killing me. Can you please suggest any medications? I have brozedex sf at home. Also I have tried guff cold as long as the medicine is in effect of avoids the cough but once the medicine power dissipates I end up having cough again.

Hi,

I went through the details. How long have you been having fever and cough? Have you taken up COVID test - rapid and RT PCR?

I can understand the cough is troubling a lot. But very likely the cough will persist until infection remains. Until then, you should continue using cough syrup such as Syp Grilinctus or any other that has been effective. Cough syrup like Grilinctus can be taken three times a day. In addition to cough syrup you can also try lozenges like TusQ chewable tablets whenever the cough bouts trouble a lot.

Make sure you drink plenty of fluids and also consider take fresh fruits and vegetables. It will help in speedy recovery.
