Question : I have a H-Pylori infection and have Rx for Clarithromycin, Metronidozole and Omeprazole. I currently take Align probiotics for IBS.
Which probiotics would you recommend to prevent antibiotic associated diarrhea?
I'm wondering between Align or Florastor or Culturelle or others? (I had diharrea after getting treated for diverticulitis a few years ago and it was metronadazole and Cipro).
Also, if I chose to go with Florastor, could I take Align with it? or just eat yogourt?

To prevent antibiotic-induced diarrhea, you can take either Lactobacillus based probiotics or Saccharomyces based probiotics.

Florastor is Saccharomyces based and Culturelle is Lactobacillus based.

So you can take one of these two.
I would suggest Florastor.

Yes, if you take Florastor, you can take Align with it.
