Question : In emergency room on August 9, 2019 and only the throwing up has resolved. They found nothing, did a lower abdominal CT, clean except for a renal cyst is present measuring approximately 3.0 x 2.9 cm. Since 9th, symptoms of intermittent fever worse at night, mild nausea at times, no appetite, some dizziness, bad fatigue, abdominal discomfort especially lower left side, not outright pain. I have a constant headache. It feels like I'm in a walk in freezer. Annoying!!! Saw my dr on 19th, bloodwork showed tsh 5, specific gravity in urine a bit low 1.003, Hemocrit 42. She raised my Cytomel a little bit. I also take Accolate for asthma and Liscinipril 10mg for hypertension. I feel like I've got cancer or something serious, but I don't think they believe me as bloodwork isn't too bad.

Brief Answer:
If not relieved by medication then colonoscopy would be done.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for choosing "Ask a Doctor" service for your query,
Have seen your details and I appreciate your concerns. As CT scan is normal it's not diverticulitis.
As per your symptoms very likely it's Gastroenteritis.
The symptoms you are describing are mostly suggestive of Bacterial gastroenteritis or Protozoal Gastroenteritis. Fever etc is again suggestive of infection in stomach. When ever there is infection fever would always be there.
Stool analysis and culture are required to confirm the diagnosis. Management is with antibiotics (usually a combination of Ciprofloxacin and Metronidazole) for which you will need a prescription.

You can also take Buscopan 10 mg thrice daily for abdominal cramps.

Eat simple food.
Home cooked vegetarian food is best.
Hope this answers your query
Please let me know if you need further clarification
