Brief Answer:
You are free from HIV infection beyond any doubt.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
There is nothing serious to be worried about.
All the prostitutes are not necessarily HIV positive. Moreover, you had a protected exposure.
Your 4th generation tests were repeatedly non-reactive after 3,6, 11 and 12. 5months. It is 100 % sure that you are free from HIV infection. There is nothing like seronegative HIV infection. HIV cannot manifest within a weeks time. Cold is a very common problem that anybody can have. There are various reasons for numbness. Your symptoms are not related to HIV infection. Your physician will take care of your problem. No need for further test for HIV.

I would be more thankful and more than happy to you if you could answer my questions.

1) What could be the maximum window period for HIV ? have you seen anybody taking more than one year to seroconvert as i know you are one of the best doctor.

2)Does Peripheral Nueropathy(Leg and hand numbness) is symptom of HIV, if it is does it occur in early or late stage

3) Does it because of anxiety and depression i am feeling leg or hand numbness or due to vitamin deficiency.

4) What are the typical symptom of HIV if it all occurs after one year.

Brief Answer:
You are free from HIV. Symptoms not related to HIV infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Window period for HIV is around 6-8 weeks and may be prolonged up to 12 weeks after the exposure. If anyone has HIV and on immunosuppressive drugs it may be delayed up to 6 months. I never came across any case seroconverted 12 weeks after the exposure in my 25 years of experience with HIV patients.
Numbness and neuropathy can occur in HIV disease in very late and advanced condition. Anxiety may manifest with numbness.
Earliest manifestations of HIV can occur 4-6 weeks after the infection as flu like fever, thoat pain, body pain etc. The individual recover from this illness within two weeks, then remain symptomless for more than 5-10 years. Your symptoms are not related to HIV infection and your physician will treat the same. Get well soon.
