Question : Hello Dr. I was given a prescription to take vitamin D of 50,000 units once a week my level was at 11, I have a lot of anxiety about of the side effects. Is it safe. Thank You XXXX
Brief Answer:
no need to worry
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
50,000 units every week is a common dosage, so there is no need to worry particularly since your vitamin D levels where very low. Just check again in a couple of months. No side effects are expected.
Kind Regards!
