Gallstones are most often silent without causing any symptoms.
Sometimes it can cause cholecystitis, jaundice, pancreatitis.
Irrespective of the stone size, if the gallstones cause symptoms, gallbladder has to be removed.
Yes, laparoscopic surgery is the best option.
