Question : Hello Doctors,
My father recently diagnosed with a Prostate and testicle TB in the biopsy after prostate and left testicle removal surgery. he was treated with AKT4 for 2 months and now he is prescribed with AKT2 for 4 months. i heard usually after AKT4 course AKT3 is given but in my father's case they did not prescribe AKT3. i would like to know if this is fine or is there any thing is missed?

Brief Answer:
There is no AKT3 in this regimen!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this TB diagnosis. I am however happy that your father is receiving the right treatment. There is no AKT3. Whoever told you this information is wrong and misleading. Your father is being correctly treated and there is no reason to get concerned. Make sure he takes the drugs as recommended and am confident all would be okay.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
