Question : Hi Doctor,

Currently I am using ACNESOL 1% Clindamycin on my acnes. I tried other solutions like benzoyl peroxide but did not helped so far. currently We are planning for pregency and i heard that using acne-sol is not advisable. can you please help me.

Clindamycin gel can be safely used till the time you get pregnant.
It won't affect your conception but once you become pregnant you need to discontinue it.
Benzoyl peroxide is safe in pregnancy and you can use it while pregnant.
