Question: Hello. I've had ADHD since childhood. I stopped taking adderall when I graduated college. I didn't think I needed it anymore. Now my ADHD is affecting my work. How would I go about getting back on a low doe of adderall to see if it helps?

Brief Answer:
You need to contact prescribing psychiatrist

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

In my opinion if the adderal worked for you in the past without significant side effects, the first choice should be adderal itself when you are facing the problem again. I do not think you need to do much as you can contact your previous doctor or a new doctor in your area with all past papers so he can inspect the required documents to make informed decision.

If he finds appropriate to prescribe, he will most likely prescribe minimum possible dose and may increase in future if necessary.

I hope this assists you.
