Brief Answer:
Advil may provide pain relief for sore toe and bunions

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Advil may provide pain relief for sore toe and bunions but you should not take it if you are taking celebrex.
Bunions (hallux valgus) is a bony bump on the joint base at the big toe. When it is small it does not cause trouble but over time gets bigger and causes pressure to the joint causing inflammation. Advil (ibuprofen) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAIDs) medicine. It may provide symptomatic relief such as relieving pain, redness and swelling. But advil cannot cure the underlying problem.

Celebrex (Celecoxib) has the same mechanism of action and as effective as advil, the difference is celebrex has fewer gastrointestinal side effects than advil. If you are taking celebrex you should not take advil.

The most effective treatment for bunions is surgery. Taking NSAIDs medicine (celebrex), using ice packs, wearing wide shoes with a soft sole may ease your symptoms.

I hope the above information will be helpful for you. Please, feel free to ask me if there is anything else you need to know.
Thank you
